The Magic Trailer fills a big gap between a utility trailer and a dump trailer. It looks just like your basic two-axle landscaping trailer, but it has a conveyor belt on the floor of the trailer. As a hobby farmer, I have used a small utility trailer for decades and it’s great for versatility. But it doesn’t dump. So I looked at dump trailers because I was getting too old, too lazy, or maybe too smart to continue shoveling two tons of compost out of my trailer by hand. It’s the same thing with tree trimmings and brush, mulch, and a load of junk to unload at the dump.

I discovered that dump trailers are quite a bit more expensive and the vast majority of them are big enough and heavy enough you should really use a 3/4-ton pickup or bigger to tow it when they are loaded. I needed something that would work well with my little half-ton Toyota Tacoma.

And so…The Magic Trailer was born. I saw a problem, and I invented a solution—I designed it, built the prototypes, revised it a dozen times, wrote the patent, designed the artwork, trademarked the name, and got an amazing result: The Magic Trailer is less expensive and lighter than any dump trailer with the same weight capacity.

The Magic Trailer works great with a half-ton pickup truck, but still has plenty of room for 7 cubic yards and 2½ tons of capacity. It comes with two 3,500 pound Dexter axles with electric trailer brakes so stopping, even with a full load, works great. It runs on a 12-volt deep cycle or “marine” battery that trickle charges from the vehicle while you drive.

And we envision a bigger model with two 5,000 pound axles with a load capacity of about 4 tons, and a smaller single axle model for working in confined spaces and small residential lots. You might even be able to tow the little one with your car or SUV if it meets the towing specs.

Unload your trailer in minutes, not hours

Save yourself from back-breaking work

No more tedious unloading

The Magic Trailer can handle it all – compost and mulch, firewood, brush, hay and straw, construction waste, etc. Just load it in the trailer like you normally would and press a button to watch it unload itself.
